Patients & Area of Focus
Myself and my medical staff are dedicated to providing the highest quality of medical care. I primarily treats adult patients with hip and knee issues resulting from arthritis, injuries, and trauma. I have a special interest in treating younger adults with arthritis of the hip and knee, helping them manage their symptoms with a treatment plan of non-surgical intervention. I am skilled and experienced in minimally invasive procedures such as hip arthroscopy, direct anterior hip replacement, robotically-assisted hip & knee surgery, and partial and total knee replacement. I have a special interest in outpatient surgery and rapid recovery after hip and knee replacement. I’m open to receiving statewide referrals for hip arthroscopic surgery.
Read Patient ReviewsI’m an avid educator in surgical procedures, teaching anterior hip replacement to other physicians. I grew up in Detroit, Michigan, but later moved to Richmond with my family in 2004. I am married with three children, and enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, hunting, and water sports. When I’m not in the hospital, you will likely find me on the river.
Maggie Kelly, PA
Physician Assistant
My name is Maggie Kelly. I’m a physician assistant and have worked with Dr. Dobzyniak since 2022. I am originally from Rockville, Maryland and moved down to Richmond in 2021. I have been a physician assistant for 10 years now.
I have worked for orthopedic practices in both Maryland and the District of Columbia before moving to Richmond to join Tuckahoe Orthopedics. I attended the University of Maryland for my undergraduate degree and went onto George Washington University for my physician assistant degree.
While at the University of Maryland, I was a four-year starter on the varsity tennis team. My husband and I have two little kiddos, Quinn (3) and Gavin (1). We love exploring all that Richmond has to offer and love escaping to the Delaware beaches whenever we can.
